Vivarium 2009

In order to develop the awareness level of our discus in the Netherlands we participated to the Vivarium 2009 in Utrecht for the first time.

The Vivarium took place on the weekend of 28th and 29th march 2009 and is geared to all lovers and friends of aquariums, terrariums and ponds. But it also offers many information and a large entertainment program for families with children.

There were approximately 90.000 liters of aquarium water with fish and plants to admire beside a lot of small stands with everything a real hobbyist needs.

Versatile lectures of international experts from the pet industry – like Discus Hans – and various workshops completed the well organized program. For more information visit:

17. Holland Koi Show in Arcen

The Nishikigoi Vereniging Nederland traditionally organizes the Holland Koi Show, known as the biggest Koi spectacle in the world. On the 21st , 22nd and 23th of August Koi enthusiasts and dealers from all-over the world can exhibit their Kois to a large public. The organizers expect about 25.000 visitors. We're happy to pronounce that we will participate this year as well!

Iberzoo 09 in Zaragoza, Spain

From 24th to 27th September 2009 the Iberzoo 2009 will take place in Zaragoza, Spain. A major part of the fair will be the aquatic sector.

More than 70 international exhibitors will present their products and animals on 25.000 square meters to the most important people from the pet industry.

At the beginning of October it's time for the Highlight of the aquaristic year. From 1st to 4th of October Zoo Zajac will organize the “Zierfische und Aquarium” for the 12th time.

Dutch Discus Championship 2009

On the weekend of 24th and 25th October 2009 the Dutch Discus Championship that is organized by the Discus Club Holland will take place again in the sportshal Helsdingen in NL-4133 EA Vianen.
We will take part for the second time and show about 24 pairs of our beautiful discus fish that will be offered for sale at the end of the show. We would be pleased to welcome you at our booth!
